Bait :: Deadbaits
Perch are traditional coarse fish and although they are predators themselves, they also make a great deadbait. They have quite a firm body so treble hooks stay in place very well and there is no fear of the baits flying off on the cast.Insert the top treble in the wrist of the tail and one point of the bottom treble into the flank of the fish for perfect presentation As it is quite firm you can also cut this fish up into chunks and fish it on just one hook (single or treble).Dependent on size, you usually get four fish in a pack and they are ideal for use whole although they can be chopped up to fish on smaller hooks if you wish.
