Wenzel was a competitor to other, larger projector and movie equipment manufacturers from the 1930's and 40's, making this a rare piece, indeed. It comes with the very sturdy Wenzel hand crank mechanism made of cast iron with a clamp on the base and an antique reel marked "Perm-A-Lined Precision Reel" Return Film Only On This Reel. Use this as a decor item for your home theatre. Terrific film or photo prop. A rare and fabulous find dating back to the 1940s. Takes one on a serious trip down film memorabilia lane!
